I’m excited to welcome Derek Schoettle to CloudTruth’s Board of Directors. Derek is a market veteran who will help CloudTruth define and execute its strategic vision and provide market insights based on his more than 20 years of industry experience scaling hyper-growth tech companies.
Currently, as a growth partner at Great Hill Partners, Derek specializes in strategic differentiation, go-to-market, marketing, portfolio management, product management, and M&A. Spending most of his career helping disruptive technologies achieve commercial success, he’s worked with numerous high-growth technology companies and large-scale, platform businesses.
Derek previously served as CEO of ZoomInfo until its acquisition in February 2019. Prior to this, he was a general manager of the IBM Watson & Cloud Data Division. A role he moved into after being CEO of Cloudant, which was acquired by IBM in 2014.
Derek is in great company, joining current board members Rudina Seseri, Founder and Managing Partner of Glasswing Ventures, and Bob Davoli, Founder and Managing Partner of Gutbrain Ventures.
